Job Description:  This position will assemble and install plumbing, hydronic and med gas systems to include but not limited to all types of plumbing and heating piping, med gas piping, refrigeration, hydraulics and high and low pressure steam.  There is a chance for advancement to a foreman position upon demonstrating leadership skills along with plumbing knowledge.  This person will work under the supervision of the foreman or site superintendent.  Some overtime may be required. Hours may vary per job depending on the demands and requirements of the project.

Requirements:

• Maintain an active city and state license in all city and states you are performing work in.
• Field experience in a commercial or industrial setting desired.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and drawings.
• Provide education, training and guidance for apprentices on the project. Set a good example.
• Reliable transportation.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to navigate hazards of new construction worksites. This will include uneven surfaces, floor openings, construction debris, poor lighting, heights and extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and operate power tools, often overhead.
• Have the ability to independently lift and carry objects that weigh up to 20 pounds routinely, 50 pounds frequently, and 80 pounds occasionally.
• Operate and work from scissor lift, scaffolding, or ladders in high spaces.
• Able to work on knees and confined spaces at times.

Additional Information – the following items would be beneficial:

• Med gas license.
• Backflow Certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
